PHOTOGRAPHS OF BATEMAN GIRLS SECONDARY SCHOOL
This is a photograph taken from the south, I don't know the date, but I would guess around early 1950's. Note the width of Park Lane. Are they still working on the outside.....
Rear of the school looking towards Biddulph. The houses in front are the Villas. There is no St Johns Road bungalows, but there appears to be lamp posts.
Two photogarphs have been donated by Carole Taylor who attended the school from
1955 to 1959 - Could be a musical play about 'Midal'
Taken in the main hall which is now the library
The following photographs have been given to me by Susan Mellor:

I only just noticed your message on Friends Reunited, sorry for the delay. I have attached a picture of our school play "I Remember Mama" around 1967. That's me right in the centre with the hat and my head leaning to the side. I was a pupil at the school from 1964 to 1968 when the school leaving age was 15. The headmistress at the time was Miss Wellar. You are welcome to use this picture on your website. I am now living in Toronto, Canada.
