Attendance Poor Average Sickness accounts for some, but a great improvement is desirable. Progress continues good, but the amount of work necessary to bring the children upto a decent standard in Arithmetic and spelling etc. is appalling. |

Examination continued this week. Not much was done last week except some oral work. The results in some of the classes are not good. This is especially the case in the written arithmetic. Classes i & ii have o the other hand obtained excellent in this subject. |

Received receipt for £2.11.01/2 sent to Sec of Barnardo's Homes. This has been collected by the scholars. |
Fnday October 22 nd 1915 |
Attendance 89.6%. The progress continues good. Much interest was shown in Trafalgar day. The collection for flags amounted to 19/4 |

Attendance slightly better this week, but even 90 pc is hardly as good as it should be Mr Harrison called. £1.17.6 sent to Dr Bernardo's House. |
July 1939 |
Collection of ‘Eggs for the Hospitals' made in School resulted in 220 eggs being sent to the Haywood Hospital . This somewhat lower total than last years is due to the greatly increased price of eggs in consequence of the cold rainy period we are having. |

Exams almost finished. On the whole the results are good. Arithmetic in years iii, iv & v is poor. Mental Arithmetic is good. |
