Surcharges: Circumstances beyond our control may deem it necessary to increase the cost of your tour. eg. ferry prices subject to fuel increases or taxes levied. Any increase must be added to the final total.
If you cancel – All cancellations must be in writing, a full 6 weeks before departure for European tours, 30 days before UK tours. On this condition will refund in full, less £25 per person.
If you cancel between 60 and 30 days (European) 30 and 14 days (UK) we will refund 50%
If you cancel with less than 30 days (European) and 14 days (UK) no refund will be made.
Arrangements for your tour are planned and paid for months in advance; therefore we strongly recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance. In the event of major changes outside our control we will advise you immediately so that we may either continue the tour with a changed itinerary or you may cancel your holiday with a full refund.
Transfer of booking – You may transfer your booking to another person in the event of you having to cancel, however it is your responsibility to see that monies are paid in full. There may be a small charge to cover administration costs.
If we cancel – We reserve the right to cancel a tour in the event of insufficient numbers. We will refund all monies paid, in full.
The organisers will not be held responsible in the event of war, riots, civil unrest, terrorism, industrial disputes, and adverse weather conditions and will not offer a refund or compensation.
All monies received are held by Advancedmotorcycletraining.com / Abbey bank in a secure account until your tour is completed.
You must hold a valid Certificate of Insurance covering rider and pillion, and be a competent fully licensed rider with a machine that is road legal and mechanically sound. You must also have the ability to get yourself and your bike home in the event of a breakdown.
You travel on these trips at your own risk and on the understanding that the organisers are not liable whatsoever for any injuries to you, fatal or otherwise, or any damage/ loss of any of your belongings, however caused.
You are advised to take out Holiday Insurance which should include Cancellation/Abandonment and Health Cover, and make sure it covers motorcycle travel abroad and cancellation caused by industrial action (many companies don't cover this). You should have a current EHIC Card, which can be applied for at the Dept of Health web-site, and provides some basic medical cover across the EU.
We cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays to your journey or ferry crossing, however vel arrangements. In cases where the party gets split up you are solely responsible for making your own way to the destinationcaused. In case of any delays, you are responsible for providing your own meals, accommodation or alternative travel.
If you cancel your booking we will refund you as follows:-
- Over three months before departure: 100% less £30 admin.
- Three to two months before departure: 75% credit for 12 months against any of our advertised trips.
- Under two months before departure: Nil.
If you are unable to travel you may be able to transfer your booking to another person This will be at our discretion and subject to a £30 surcharge and at least two weeks notice must be given.
