Just a short note to thank you for such useful and interesting videos. My bike is now in hibernation but once the spring arrives (hopefully!) I will be signing up for one of your 1:1 days. Interestingly, I now work with a colleague who did the Standard course when he worked for Staffordshire, possibly one of your previous pupils, prior to riding with Nick I knew nothing about the police riding technique, it has transformed my riding, both as a safer biker, but also in making progress.
Once again, Nigel, many thanks for your You Tube videos and I cannot wait to join you for a training day.
Kind regards
Dean Batty

SPEARFYSH (Netherlands) - Comments on Limit Point of Observation Advanced Motorcycle Training
Thank you for these videos. I have had your voice in my head many times when riding, especially in areas that are unfamiliar. I'm not to proud to say I have made some stupid mistakes in my assessment of some bends and I seem to have a bias towards left hand bends, they just don't seem as natural or flow as well? But to be in position to know why I made those mistakes means I must have learnt something so thanks again.

FLOOPNOOT - NETHERLANDS
I just spent 5 days riding in Sauerland, Germany and I just kept hearing this guy advancedbiker inside my head: "stay out, stay out", "forget the right, plan for the left", "I like it!"
Thanks for all the useful videos!

Good day to you,
I stumbled some time ago upon your site and have found the lessons and riding methods very benificial.
So much, I have changed my methods of going into bends nd judging corners speeds etc.
So, for that I thank you and hope to gain more and more from you as you release more video footage and indeed look over past as yet not viewed footage.
Hi Nigel,
Firstly can I say thank you for your generosity in sending me the DVD.
I have watched it now twice (I will watch many more yet)...
Each time I have developed a little more in my techniques for riding.
I now fully use the bend lines and structures used for maintaining a clear
route through the bends. A correct and when suitable progressive speed
in the bends and above all much much safer in the process.
A few days ago I was riding around the Lincolnshire Wolds and surrounding
areas and made use of the techniques for overtaking. Whilst I believe I was
a suitably safe over taker favouring safety for a risky or questionable -
manoeuvre I have to accept I was not reading the road as well as I needed to
so, once again thank you.
I shall watch the DVD many times so every aspect of your training becomes
second nature I will (as you have already agreed) pass the DVD onto some friends
who I know will benefit as I have from the wisdom contained within.
I will close by once again thanking you, your You Tube videos and the DVD have
become a valuable tool in making me, and I hope many others safer and better riders.
Andy.

Mr Advanced Biker, I really enjoy your videos and have learnt a lot from them. No man is a perfect rider, but you display a truely excellent attitude of humility, and this keeps you open to learning all the time, and the rest of us a bit safer, it is very easy to criticise as certain " merchant bankers" have felt a compelling need to.
I have just completed a safer motorcylcing and riding technique course. Could you recommend any others?

Great videos Hello there,
I just wanted to say how good I think your videos are. I passed my DAS test on July 23 (with a clean sheet!), and I'm really keen to keep my hand in with training.
I'm thoroughly enjoying my new SV650 Sport, and I'm going to book some advanced training once I have a few hundred miles under my belt.
For now, though, while I'm having fun getting to know my new machine (and the mean streets of London), it's great to have your excellent videos to refer to so I can try to keep bad habits at bay.
Keep up the good work!
John

Nothing to do with Bike Sense but came accross this video by Nigel Bowers of Advanced Motorcycle Training . As a motorcyclist it is always nice to see how the pros do it - and filtering is often one of those grey areas that people get wrong all the time.

Hi,
I've watched a few of your excellent video clips on youtube and really just wanted to say thanks. I have so far completed my CBT training, am about to do my theory test and then will do a DAS course to hopefully gain my full licence. The plan after this is to get a 600c bike and look to do some further (advanced) training as soon as possible.
Watching your videos has really opened my eyes to the amount of learning required for safe riding and that there is so much more to learn after getting a full licence. After watching your videos I hope to be a safer biker. I can't wait to get my licence.
Thanks (again!),
Steve

Enhanced Rider Assessment - Use of Video
The clip on Youtube:- That's absolutely brilliant – well, the minimal display of rear obs isn't, but it's brilliant to see myself ride. I've not had that before and it's absolutely fascinating. Really rams home the points you made – they're the same things I'm looking at and thinking, faster, give it more space, late on line, where's the shoulder check?!!! What a good device!
